Multilingual means the casework, not just the menus

Access and privacy work is multilingual by nature — the requester's language, the records' language, and the coordinator's language are often three different things.

The interface, natively

Every screen, label, notification, and report in all 11 languages — each user works in their own language on the same shared caseload.

Case content, per record

Request scope, correspondence, and closure summaries can be translated per record, with the original always one click away — nothing is overwritten. The optional AI Assist does the translating inside your own tenant, and every translation is a suggestion a person can review and override.

Correspondence, in theirs

A requestor's language is tracked on their record, and letters merge in that language from your jurisdiction pack's templates — including bilingual regimes where English and French are a legal duty, not a preference.

Language Questions

What languages does AccessPoint's interface support?

The entire interface ships natively in 11 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, Finnish, Swedish, and Polish. Every language is included in every pricing tier — nothing to license or enable separately.

Can case content be in a different language than the interface?

Yes. Case content — request scope, correspondence, closure summaries — can be translated per record, with the original always one click away. A coordinator working in French can process a request whose records and requester correspondence are in English, and vice versa. With the optional AI Assist deployed, translation runs inside your own tenant, and every translation is a suggestion a person can review and override.

Does AccessPoint meet Canadian Official Languages requirements?

English and French ship natively — every interface element, notice, letter, and correspondence template — meeting Official Languages obligations out of the box for federal institutions and officially bilingual jurisdictions like New Brunswick.

Is the documentation localized too?

Yes. The full documentation set — user guide, admin guide, and architecture, 114+ pages — is available in all 11 languages, with a language switcher on every page.
